To better align our North American operations with The Sage Group plc, our global parent company, Best Software is becoming Sage Software. While our name is changing, be assured that our focus is as it has always been –

  • Why change your name at this time?
  • It was always the company’s intention to use the Sage brand name worldwide; however, the Sage trademark was not available to us in North America until recently.
  • What will this name change mean for customers?
  • The new name better reflects the global scope of our company and our position as one of the largest software developers providing small and mid-sized businesses with a broad range of business management solutions. The most noticeable change is that the Sage brand will be incorporated into our product names starting with product year 2006. Peachtree by Sage, Sage MAS 90, and Sage Timberline Office are a few examples.

Your day-to-day interaction with us will not change. You will be able to purchase our products in the same way you purchased them in the past. The customer support number you use today will not change in the foreseeable future.
